"In 2019 choreographer Kianí del Valle and her KDV DANCE ENSEMBLE were in a year-long choreographic residency at FUNKHAUS BERLIN. During two months of this residency del Valle created the piece, Las Casas Invisibles, in collaboration with her dancers. Over the course of the creation period, film-makers Miguel Murrieta & Julius Dettmer documented rehearsals, got to know the choreographic process and captured the development of Las Casas Invisibles. The show premiered Feb 1st 2020 at the Iconic Saal 1 of this prestigious cultural institution.

In collaboration with Miguel Murrieta Vásquez, I documented different phases of the dance performance "Las Casas Invisibles" by Kiani del Valle and the KDV Dance Ensemble.
We filmed differnt development steps of the choreography and were able to be part of the creative voyage of this project.
Kianí del Valle manifests her artistic vision with the musicians Floating Points, Raven Bush and Lotic and some of the best and most extraordinary dancers in town.
The edit recaps some of the impressions we collected during rehearsals and performances.
Zusammen mit Miguel Murrieta Vásquez habe ich verschiedene Phasen der Tanzperformance Produktion "Las Casas Invisibles" des KDV Ensembles begleitet und dokumentiert.
Wir haben verschiedene Entwicklungsstufen der Choreografie bis zur fertigen Performance im Funkhaus Berlin gefilmt und durften Teil der spannenden Reise des kreativen Projektes sein. Kianí del Valle setzt in diesem Stück ihre starke künstlerische Vision mit den Musikern Floating Points, Raven Bush und Lotic und ein paar der außergewöhnlichsten und talentiertesten Tänzern Berlins um.
